Celebrate Every Day!

I always hate to see the holidays come to an end every year.
This year, I had a revelation. Why does it have to come to an end? It doesn't!
I pitched it to my family that we would celebrate the mundane and silly holidays of 2018...EVERY SINGLE DAY!
People often comment, 'That sounds like a lot of work!'
It generally takes five minutes.
FIVE minutes...to smile, laugh, be silly, enjoys life's sweetness.
Make the time to celebrate life!
I promise... you  won't be disappointed!
Life is not forever. Live Life!  Love Life!
In 2017, we went to Italy with friends and the trip's finale was a magnificent day in Venice. The gondola, the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Basilica...we did it all that day!

As we flew home the next day, we found out that on our gorgeous day before, a group of terrorists had been captured in St. Mark's square and their plot to bomb the Rialto Bridge had been foiled.

If Oprah has 'A-ha' moments, that was my "YIKES" moment.

This is what I learned from that moment:

1.  I was with the loves of my life in the most beautiful setting and although it wasn't my day to die, if it was...I would have died happy!

2.  Life is not a guarantee. The rug can be pulled out from underneath you at any point. Isn't it best to make the most of it?  Spending the most time with my family and friends is the greatest gift I could ever receive!

Since then, I made a conscious decision to live life to the fullest and to try to make our lives as FUN-packed as possible!

 We want to play!
People often ask how we know the holidays for every day.  We look them up and we will post every Monday with the celebrations for the week!

A Celebration can be 5 minutes of fun! Keep it easy!
You'll also be amazed at what you learn in the process! For example, National Shut in's Visitation Day or Thomas Crapper Day!

Keep things silly!  You'll always feel better after some play time!
